Dynamic self-motivation
We all experience diverse circumstances in our life journey. Each presenting
circumstance offers myriad choices. Knowingly or unknowingly, we make
split-second decisions that catapult us in a corresponding direction. Although,
our evolutionary state, beliefs, past experiences, personal preferences, habits, and patterns make us more inclined to a particular type of decision, a
conscious opportunity (free will) to make the most appropriate choice always
exists. The challenge is to be aware of this subtle choice window. Unbeknownst
to many, remaining grounded through multi-dimensional, dynamic circumstances;
being sharply aware to grab the opportunity, and making the most appropriate
choice is a skill. Moreover, standing your ground until the circumstance offers
you the choice and living with the aftermath (the desired and undesired outcomes
as well as unintended consequences) is a motivation-intensive exercise. Thus,
life is about being consciously aware and motivated enough to differentiate the
signal (opportunity) from the noise (circumstances) and living through the
spiral of circumstances that unfold as a result of the choices.
Dynamic
self-motivation helps one remain grounded, and unperturbed as well as calibrate
a response to the unfolding circumstances. To explain with an example,
maintaining a sharp focus on the polestar while continuously navigating through
the rough seas helps one survive and eventually reach their destination. In the
same manner, one needs to constantly remain connected to their core motivation
while dynamically adjusting their inner state in the face of circumstances.
