Being and knowing

Using wisdom to handle and direct the sword of intellect,
Not to choose a narrative over others,
Rather pierce through the noise of narratives,
In aloof self awareness, evaluate the triggering event and it's intent from a holistic perspective,
Remaining open to learn and understand,
Observe the emergence of an apt response and action, it's expression and gradual dissipation.
No doership, just plain observing of waxing and waning expression - physiological, emotional or mental.
Settling back in core self awareness without any unintended consequences.
Plain vanilla being and knowing akin to a peaceful lake,
Until the next wave sets in...

Art of learning 1

Learning is simple yet quite complex.
Current methods of learning are focused on solutions or quick fixes. They are not aimed at understanding the contextual ground reality and are not layered to mimic real world scenarios. They do not focus on developing the art of thinking, strategic thinking, systems thinking. Further, they are not experiential, problem based, and heavily depend on directed narrative that hardly meet success and failure in the same way. As a result, lasting learning and growth does not occur as expected.

Importantly, one needs to first, develop the right attitude; carry out holistic self assessment; design and execute unlearning plan; learn and understand the art of strategic and systems thinking as well then apply it. One should learn in a step-by-step, layered, incremental, experiential structured, streamlined and end to end manner. One should embrace openness, develop qualitative and holistic perception; harness multiple diverse perspectives; determine and improve one's own mental models. In the process of execution, one should be willing to explore diverse what-if scenarios and wholeheartedly as well as unconditionally embrace incident failure. In the case of failure, one should do a detailed retrospective assessment and identify learning lessons that can be incorporated in future similar activities.
